Berkshire Youth Development League – U11s Division 2 07/11/09

PURLEY JUBILEE 2-0 CAVERSHAM HURRICANES

Purley played some excellent football against a very good Caversham side.
Lead superbly by captain Jacob Crossley, they created plenty of chances, mainly
from wingers Jack Dale and Rhys Warren, from one of which Robert Butcher scored
before half time. Purley were indebted to goalkeeper George Baker who made some
great saves to keep out Caversham before Robert Butcher scored a superb second
as he held off the challenge of a defender and rifled the ball into the roof of
the net.
Rhys Warren won the fair play award for Purley.
