Purley Jubilee 1-0 Dynamos

Purley edged a very hard fought game with their third consecutive 1-0 win. All of the chances were created by Purley, but it didn’t look as though we were going to score until a brilliant corner from Rhys Warren found Captain Jacob Crossley who took one touch before rifling the ball into the roof of the net.

Goalkeeper George Baker also deserves credit as this was the eighth match this season in which he had kept a clean sheet.

Jacob Crossley was the Purley man of the match, although Tom Hopes ran him close with some surging runs from defence.
