Purley Jubilee Royals U12

Playing in the Reading & West Berkshire League Sundays

Purley Royals are an U12 Boys team playing both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The team is well established, and enjoyed some success at U11 level in winning the RWBL Division 2 title along with 2 tournaments. They are a friendly bunch of boys who all attend local schools.

Managed by Adam and assisted by Ian, for the past 6 seasons, the Royals are a well organised unit with a great set of supporting parents. Player development is at the top of our agenda, and over 50% of the current squad has been with us for 4 or more years. In training we work on tactics, positional play and teamwork. Game time is shared equally and every lad gets an opportunity to shine in their preferred position.

We are always on the lookout for new additions, as we look to further build the squad in preparation for the move up to 11 a side at the start of the 2024-25 season. The Saturday team is new for the 2023-24 season.

Training

Training – Every Wednesday

Royals train every Wednesday 5:30 -6:30pm at Prospect Park cages. This is on a 4g pitch so please make sure the right footwear is worn. (NO hard studs)

Training sessions are taken by an ex semi-pro player and are always varied and fun.

Home Ground

Match day - Goosecroft

Royals play all their home games at Goosecroft – Purley. This is a pitch with a club house providing facilities and refreshments. The pitch is always at a high standard .
